Mark Noble reacts to incredible West Ham United scenes ahead of FA Youth Cup final

Mark Noble has insisted that the club will celebrate if West Ham United achieves its triple ambition of winning the Europa Conference League and the FA Youth Cup in addition to securing Premier League survival, as featured in the Daily Mail [Page 65, 25 April].

The young Hammers face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium tonight, Tuesday 25 April, in the showpiece youth cup final.

Noble, now sporting director, is still intensely involved at all levels of the club and even trains with the Under 18 team once a week.

West Ham

The Mail article gives a great insight into what makes the West Ham legend tick, with his dedication and desire for his role evidenced.

“It would be incredible if we win the Europa Conference League, the FA Youth Cup and for the first team to stay in the Premier League”, he stated.

“If that all works out, we’ll be celebrating.”

Sky high confidence

Noble and others must be walking tall around the club at present, given that there is so much to look forward to and be positive about. Especially after the last week and the results for the senior team.

Premier League football is almost secure for another campaign following a lean period, whilst the Irons have already booked their place in another semi-final on the continent. They will want to go one better than last season when they take on AZ Alkmaar in the last four of the Europa Conference League.

Then there is the prestigious FA Youth Cup final tonight, providing a shot at glory for the young prospects in east London. This is their stage to catch the eye of the legendary figure in Noble, as well as first-team boss David Moyes, who will be watching on.

His position going forward is still uncertain but regardless of that, there is still a lot to shout about for West Ham and to celebrate if they get their way.
