Mark Noble raves over one West Ham player v Bournemouth
There were plenty of West Ham United players who appeared entirely rejuvenated under David Moyes against Bournemouth on Wednesday.
Club record signing Sebastien Haller produced the type of performance that encouraged the Hammers to splash the cash on him.
Playmaker Pablo Fornals, meanwhile, continued to look much-improved amid an exciting run of form for the Spanish international.
However, it was Brazilian playmaker Felipe Anderson who most impressed Irons captain Mark Noble against the Cherries.
“We need to have a foundation of hard work, team spirit and togetherness — and once you have that, the flair and talent will take care of itself,” he wrote in his Evening Standard column.
“That’s why I was buzzing for Felipe Anderson against Bournemouth. He worked his socks off — the hardest I’ve seen him graft for ages — and the simple fact is that, if you work that hard consistently, the rewards will come, as with his second-half goal.”
The former Lazio man finally got the first goal of his second season in east London, but he also produced three successful dribbles and two crosses on his way to a WhoScored rating of 7.94.
In other West Ham news, the club are expected to launch a bid for a former Hammers star on Friday.
