Mark Noble image emerges in Switzerland as West Ham United news confirmed

Mark Noble has been spotted in Switzerland alongside club secretary Andy Pincher to see who West Ham would face in the Europa League draw.

In a live feed on the TNT Sports YouTube page on Friday (23 February), the duo were seen watching on as the Hammers were paired against Bundesliga side SC Freiburg in the last 16 of the competition.

It will be the third time the Irons will have faced the German club this season, having beaten them twice already in the group stages.

West Ham will be pleased with Freiburg draw

The draw is a pretty good one for West Ham after they’ve already shown this season that they are more than capable of beating Freiburg home and away.

While the Hammers were in better form when those games came around earlier in the campaign, they should have enough to see off the German side in the last 16.

After being knocked out of both of the domestic competitions and seeing the possibility of challenging for a European spot in the Premier League drifting away, the Europa League is starting to become the primary focus for the club.

With David Moyes’ future well and truly up in the air, this is a tie he knows he simply must win if he wants to remain at the London Stadium beyond this season.

The Scotsman will be hoping we can pick up a bit of form before those games come around as the players currently appear to be desperately short on confidence.
