West Ham United playmaker Manuel Lanzini became an instant hero in the 3-3 draw against Tottenham on Sunday.
The Argentine came off the bench to score a wondergoal with the last kick of the game to rescue his side a point in North London.
It was that good of a strike from distance, that WyScout claimed Lanzini only had a 0.05% chance of finding the back of the net.
It doesn’t get any easier for West Ham, with Manchester City up next.
David Moyes will be considering some changes after the disastrous start to the game against Spurs, no matter how it ended.
Those could be defensive switches though, as it seems that despite his heroics, Lanzini won’t be starting.
Reliable club source, Claret and Hugh have reported on their website that the Argentine is likely to start on the bench against City.
Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen both struggled in the first half, but came into the game as it went on past the break.
It would be no surprise to see Lanzini starting, but it appears that Moyes is set to stick with the side that earned two impressive wins before that game.
In only 13 minutes, the South American scored with his only shot on goal and was fouled three times according to WhoScored.
He was a massive influence, and it would be deserved if he earned the chance for more minutes against City this weekend.
