Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka agent shares good relation with West Ham United as Newcastle and Wolves enter transfer battle

Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is reportedly being considered by West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves in January.

According to ExWHUemployee, the Englishman’s agent is Will Salthouse who shares a good relationship with the Hammers board.

However, the fact that Newcastle and Wolves are considering a move for the 25-year-old, a loan move would be tougher to execute.

West Ham

Ex said on his West Ham Way podcast at 8:10, “We would ideally like to sign him on loan. However, loan may not be an option if clubs like Wolves and Newcastle showing an interest were to buy him. One thing in our favour is that his agent is Will Salthouse who is an agent we’ve used many times He has a strong relationship with the board.”

Blessing in disguise

The Hammers may need a right-back in January but Wan-Bissaka is not the answer for them.

It’s a good thing that the move now seems more complicated and it’s best if West Ham pursue other options.

Initially, it was understood that they were only going to do an initial loan and that was fine as a last resort if Wan-Bissaka was to be the backup.

But signing him permanently comes with certain risks and that’s not something the Hammers need to be doing when there are other areas of the pitch that need strengthening.

Hopefully, this ends the pursuit of the Manchester United player and West Ham can focus on players that actually strengthen the playing eleven.

Wan-Bissaka certainly doesn’t do that and we’re not certain why Moyes would want him at the London Stadium as hes’s not an attack-minded player who’ll deliver good balls into the box.
