Lukasz Fabianski set for West Ham stay
West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is set to stay on for another year, according to a report by Claret and Hugh.
The report claims that insiders at the club believe that he can stay on for another season as the number one or battle hard with whoever the manager decides is his first choice.
The 36-year-old is very likely to be offered a new contract at the end of the season as his deal runs out then.

He had been linked with an exit on the expiration of his contract, but it seems that he will be staying on for at least another campaign.
Good move
Fabianski called time on his international career recently which is a good indicator as to where his head’s at currently.
Players often retire from international duty to prolong their club career and we believe that’s what he’s got on his mind.
Keeping Fabianski on, even as the second choice, will be a good idea as he’s someone who understands the club well and has built good relations not just with the club hierarchy but also with the fans.
David Moyes also rates him highly and has opted to play him ahead of Alphonse Areola, who he signed on loan this summer.

Whether or not Areola stays beyond this season remains to be seen, but if Fabianski has another year in the tank, he most certainly must be handed the opportunity to prove himself.
Hopefully, neither parties have a change of heart from now until the end of the season as it’s hard to predict what goes on in the modern game these days.
