Lucas Paqueta shares West Ham clip vs Brentford with simple new message

Lucas Paqueta may have left West Ham United in January, but he is still watching over the London Stadium while in Brazil.

Paqueta left West Ham for Flamengo after weeks of tough negotiations, with David Sullivan eventually happy just to take the cash.

The Hammers have improved massively since, jumping to just one point from Premier League safety as well as tasting success in the FA Cup.

West Ham beat Brentford on penalties on Monday after a 2-2 draw, setting up a home quarter-final against Leeds at the start of April.

With one win separating the Irons from a semi-final at Wembley, Paqueta was delighted.

Jarrod Bowen was the hero of the night against Brentford, scoring twice in normal time before dispatching his penalty too.

Paqueta was watching in Brazil, sharing footage of Bowen placing his penalty into the bottom corner to kick off the victory at the London Stadium.

Posting on his personal Instagram story, the song overlaid was “Bowen’s on fire”.

With Crysencio Summerville taking the spotlight in 2026 so far, it was great to see Bowen return to centre stage at the London Stadium.

Although worries have begun following the win.

Crysencio Summerville injury worry could hit hard

Summerville started on the bench against Brentford, but was brought on for the second half and played almost a full game with extra time added on.

The winger was spotted limping for much of the additional period, and wasn’t spotted at the front of post-match celebrations.

It looks to be a calf issue for Summerville, but with huge games against Manchester City and Aston Villa next up, Nuno will be desperate to have him available.

With his goal involvements already nearly in double figures for this season, Summerville will want to continue that form against the very best.

It wouldn’t be the end of the world if he were to miss a game against City, though, with much bigger and more winnable fixtures to come between now and May.
