Lopetegui reveals Jean-Clair Todibo injury ahead of Leicester v West Ham
Julen Lopetegui has revealed that Jean-Clair Todibo is a fitness doubt for the Premier League game between Leicester and West Ham United on Tuesday.
The Irons may be without the France international for their trip to the King Power Stadium on 3 December after he picked up a “problem” in their 5-2 loss to Arsenal on Saturday [30 November].
Addressing the press on Monday [West Ham United FC on YouTube, 2 December], Lopetegui said that the centre-back will have to undergo a fitness test to see if he can feature against the Foxes.
“We had a little problem in the last match with Todibo, so let’s see if he is going to be ready or not”, the Spaniard said.

The 5-2 defeat to the Gunners was by all means harrowing for West Ham and Lopetegui will be glad there are only two days between that and the game with Leicester as it gives his side an opportunity to immediately return to winning ways.
However, Todibo’s injury will be a huge headache for the Spanish tactician as Konstantinos Mavropanos was also nowhere to be seen in the matchday squad on Saturday.
The Nice loanee was notably an injury doubt for the clash with Mikel Arteta’s side, but he started the game anyway, albeit in a losing cause.
Lopetegui did not reveal if Todibo’s latest issue is the same one as before, however.

The former Sevilla boss, though, ruled out the chances of Nicklas Fullkrug playing against Leicester on Tuesday, although he is edging closer to full fitness.
Mohammed Kudus, meanwhile, is available for match selection after serving his five-match suspension.
In other West Ham news, Alan Pardew has admitted he was hurting after what he heard about the Irons.
