Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has predicted the result of the West Ham v Crystal Palace Premier League clash on Sunday, 3 December.
The Sky Sports pundit for Super Six, has predicted the Hammers to secure a 2-1 victory in front of their home fans at the London Stadium.
The Hammers currently sit in ninth place while Roy Hodgson’s men are in 13th.
Must win
The Hammers need to treat home games against lower half teams as must wins and this one is certainly there for the taking.
Hodgson’s side have not been bit at their best this season and despite being some way clear of the drop zone, may get embroiled in a relegation battle if results don’t go their way.
They’ve recently lost to Luton Town and Everton – two sides that are in the bottom four – so it’s pretty evident that confidence is not at an all-time high at Selhurst Park.
David Moyes will have his side fired up for this game and will be hoping that there’s not too much fatigue from the mid-week Europa League clash.
He’ll also not want any injuries as qualification appears to be a formality, as things stand, and even a point may be enough to seal the deal.
Jarrod Bowen may not be risked in mid week but the hope will be that he’s available for the game over the weekend against Palace.
