Lingard and Antonio share hilarious video as West Ham players give Noble birthday punishment
The West Ham squad gave Mark Noble a birthday to remember on Saturday with a special surprise he was not expecting.
The skipper had just finished the workout given to him by teammates when they covered him head to toe in eggs and flour.
Noble was floored, literally, by the surprise, with the rest of the squad singing, dancing, and laughing at the now 34-year-old.
In typical Noble fashion he saw the funny side before joining in with his celebrating teammates.
Michail Antonio caught the even on Instagram live, captioning his video “Happy Birthday skip.”
Jesse Lingard called Noble a “ledge” in his own Instagram story.
Captain marvel
We just absolutely adore Noble and this is a fitting way to celebrate his birthday.
It is also brilliant to see the camaraderie and team spirit on show, and the players seem very relaxed despite the position we find ourselves in.
It is clear to see everyone is remaining grounded and confident ahead of four crucial matches, starting with the visit of Everton tomorrow.
David Moyes has transformed the spirit in the dressing room and the addition of Jesse Lingard in January has helped massively with that.
We are not surprised he is at the centre of the mischief, just as he has been at the centre of everything we have done well on the pitch in the last few months.
Although Noble may not start on Sunday, we are hoping Lingard and Antonio can play a key contribution in our bid for three more vital points against the Toffees.
