Lewis Jones predicts West Ham clash v Everton

Lewis Jones has responded to a West Ham United fan who labelled him a “muppet” for his shocking Premier League predictions.

The Sky Sports pundit consistently goes against the Irons despite their incredible form and did the same for the game against Burnley, which finished 1-2.

Jones claims he has seen the light and has backed the Hammers to win by the same scoreline yet again against Everton.

Writing in his Sky Sports column, Jones made the huge claim about the ramifications of the upcoming game at the London Stadium.

“The game of the weekend. No question. And, West Ham’s most important match since facing Blackpool in the 2012 Championship play-off final,” he wrote.

“There’s a strong possibility that four wins from their remaining four games will be enough for a top-four finish.

“A Hammers fan got in touch this week calling me a ‘muppet’ for my continued negative view when it comes to predicting West Ham matches. He was bang on. I just can’t get them right.

“But I have seen the light.”

This is a huge month.

With only four games remaining, it is critical that we pick up three points in each clash and keep it in our own hands.

The gap to Chelsea is currently standing at three points, but with their next clash at Manchester City this weekend, that could be instantly shut down.

Securing qualification for the Europa League is still a successful campaign, and we must not get too carried away or disappointed if we miss out on the top-four.

Jones going against us consistently also made no sense, and although he claims to have seen the light, it appears unlikely that he would ever be welcome at the London Stadium.

We love proving people wrong, and qualifying for the Champions League would do just that, first step? Three points against Everton.
