Leicester suffer major injury blow as four players ruled out of West Ham United clash

Leicester City will be without four players for their Premier League trip to West Ham United on Saturday according to Injury expert Ben Dinnery.

James Justin is the latest player to be added to the injury list for the Foxes after being ruled out for the season with a ruptured Achilles (BBC Sport, 10 November).

Ricardo Pereira is also out to the new year with an Achilles injury. Caglar Soyuncu and Ryan Bertrand are also ruled out of the trip to the London Stadium.

Crucial

This has the feeling of a must win game for David Moyes with the pressure really starting to mount on the West Ham United boss after three defeats in his last four Premier League fixtures. The Evening Standard (10 November) have even gone as far to say that Moyes could have a “mutiny” on his hands if the Hammers suffer another defeat.

Regardless of Leicester’s injury list and poor start to the season, the Foxes are playing well at the moment, having recently picked up an impressive win over Everton at Goodison Park. This will be no means be a walk in the park for the Irons, who know that a defeat could see them into the bottom three for the World Cup break.

A win would take Moyes’ side back above the Foxes and certainly ease the mounting pressure. There is a growing feeling that the Scot may well have take this side as far as he can, with his defensive style of play hampering the Hammers’ attacking talent.
