Leicester City ace James Maddison sends West Ham United star Declan Rice four-word message amid reunion
Leicester City ace James Maddison has sent a four-word message to West Ham star Declan Rice after the pair joined up for international duty.
Both midfielders have been included in Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad, which was announced last month.
The Three Lions take on Malta and North Macedonia in their Euro 2024 qualifiers on 16 and 19 June respectively.

The duo had very different seasons, with Maddison relegated from the Premier League with the Foxes as Rice won the Europa Conference League trophy with the Hammers.
Sharing an image of the duo meeting up for international duty, Maddison wrote on Instagram: “What a guy man,” with a trophy emoji in reference to West Ham’s recent Europa Conference League success.

Similar futures
As mentioned, both midfielders had mixed campaigns, with Rice’s ending in silverware and Maddison’s ending in a disappointing relegation to the Championship.
Their summers, however, are set to be much more similar, both on a club level and when it comes to their country.
Both will have every chance of lining out for the Three Lions later this month, while the duo are also currently heavily in the spotlight when it comes to where they will be playing their club football next season.
West Ham captain Rice has been strongly linked with a move away from East London over the coming months, with several top clubs seemingly lining up for his signature.
After plenty of years starring for the Hammers, the club captain seems destined to move on, with the same to be said of Foxes ace Maddison, who is definitely way too good to be playing in the Championship.
The Leicester midfielder also looks certain to be highly sought-after this summer.
