Kurt Zouma sends message to West Ham United loanee Arthur Masuaku
West Ham United loanee Arthur Masuaku took to Instagram to express his reaction after he played for Besiktas in the 1-1 draw against Gazieshir on 25 December.
Masuaku came off the bench in the 67th minute in place of Umut Meras, delivering an assist for Wout Weghorst to fire home a much-needed goal for the Turkish club.
Kurt Zouma, who is currently out injured for the Hammers, responded to Masuaku’s post on Instagram.

“We came for more but still one good point in the end. We keep building,” wrote Masuaku.
“Arthurito,” replied Zouma.
No future
Masuaku has struggled with form and fitness in Turkey and doubts remain over his long-term at West Ham.
He has become a surplus to requirements at the club and the Hammers will look to sell him permanently next summer, as reported by ExWHUemployee (8 October).
Besiktas have the option to sign him permanently but recent reports suggest that they could change their plans.
When Masuaku joined the Turkish club, it became very clear that he is not in David Moyes’ long-term plans.

He has made over 125 appearances since joining the club in 2016 from Olympiacos.
Moyes bolstered the left-back areas by signing Emerson from Chelsea during the summer, but he is yet to make a big impact so far.
Based on his early performances, he doesn’t look like a big update on Masuaku, but, that won’t make any difference in his future at the London stadium.
He is very good going forward but his defending has let the club down on many occasions.
