Karren Brady told to exit West Ham after ‘stupid’ thing she said about Graham Potter
West Ham fans continue to protest against senior figures after a series of failures over the last 18 months.
West Ham fans lined the streets before the defeat to Crystal Palace, and were heard chanting ‘sack the board’.
Things haven’t been going well on and off the pitch for the Hammers, with results falling below the standards required, and missing out on multiple transfer targets over the summer.
Graham Potter is expected to be sacked by West Ham in the coming weeks, and vice chairman Karren Brady has come under fire for her comments regarding the 50-year-old.

Karren Brady comes under fire from Richard Keys
West Ham owner David Sullivan isn’t the only figure to come under fire over the last few months.
Brady was ridiculed by West Ham fans over the summer when she tried to explain the reasoning behind their transfer struggles.
In January, Brady heaped praise on Potter when he was appointed as the Irons’ new manager, but she now appears to have turned her back on him, with his exit almost inevitable.
Writing in his blog, Richard Keys slammed the vice chairman for the appointment of the former Chelsea boss.
He wrote, “It looks like Graham Potter is toast. Is anyone surprised? He was never the man for West Ham. He’s not a big club manager.
- Brady was one of the spearheads for the move from Upton Park to the London Stadium in 2016
- She is seen as David Sullivan’s right-hand woman at West Ham
- The 56-year-old has come under fire in recent months for her comments on the Hammers’ signings
“All that bluster from Karen Brady when they appointed him looks even more stupid now. She should go with him.
“She’s made one bad decision after another in her role with The Hammers – including delivering an athletics arena for them to play football in. I feel sorry for West Ham fans. Oh for the Moysey days eh?”
What Richard Keys said about Graham Potter in January
Keys has been critical of Brady and Potter in the past, with the 50-year-old backed to steer the Hammers back in the right direction.
Keys showed plenty of uncertainty when the former Chelsea boss was appointed, and slammed the decision to bring him in.
In January, he wrote on X: “Karren Brady believes Graham Potter will take trophies to West Ham. I don’t.
“Strange – because they had a coach that did, and they forced him out. Everton will benefit and it’s great to have a Scot working in the PL again. Welcome back David.”
All eyes are now on whether the Hammers will make a managerial change after the Everton game, and who could come in as a replacement.
