Joleon Lescott predicts scoreline of West Ham United Premier League match v Leicester

Joleon Lescott has predicted West Ham to suffer yet another defeat when they take on Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday (12 November) at the London Stadium.

After a disastrous start to the season, the Foxes have completely turned it around, picking up four wins in their last five games in all competitions.

The Hammers lost their previous league game against Crystal Palace and Lescott, who works for BT Sports, has predicted a 2-0 victory for the visitors.

West Ham United

“That Carabao Cup loss to Blackburn in midweek just turns the pressure up another notch on David Moyes and West Ham,” said Lescott to LiveScore.

“It’s been one of those campaigns so far where nothing seems to really go right and they are playing Leicester at the worst possible time.

“Brendan Rodgers has really turned the Foxes around after their own difficult spell and I expect them to leave East London with three points.”

Tough

This is the last game before the World Cup, and the break couldn’t have come at a better time for the Hammers.

They have been bang average in the Premier League this season, and find themselves 15th in the league table, just a place above Everton.

The recent results have been very poor, and a massive improvement is needed.

The squad will probably regroup during the World Cup and they will work on their mistakes. For this game, the Hammers must win for the fans.

West Ham

In the previous game against Crystal Palace, the Hammers vented their frustrations towards Moyes after he took off Said Benrahma.

It was more of a general frustration than anything else, as the Hammers eventually lost against their London rivals.

The away form has been horrible, but what has been really frustrating is that the Hammers are struggling to score enough on their home turf as well.

Moyes needs to get the best out of his players. At home, they must pick up all three points.
