The only goal of the game came thanks to an effort from the Hammers’ Said Benrahma but a costly error from United’s David de Gea saw the ball trickle over the line to secure a first-half opener for the hosts.
That victory and three crucial points for David Moyes’ men will go a long way to securing their Premier League status, as evidenced by the noise at full-time.

As it stands, West Ham United can now boast of a seven-point gap over the relegation zone.
