Jim White tips West Ham manager David Moyes for Manchester United job once again
Jim White has touted West Ham boss David Moyes for the Manchester United job once again in the summer amidst Ralf Rangnick’s impending departure this summer.
The 58-year-old has done and continues to do, a stellar job with The Irons who sit 7th in the Premier League and recently knocked out Sevilla to advance to the Quarter Finals of the Europa League.
White put forward Moyes to take charge at Old Trafford once again after he wasn’t given time to carry on the rein of Sir Alex Ferguson years ago.

Speaking on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this morning [29 March], White put his fellow Scots’ name forward when debating who should take the hot seat at Old Trafford in the summer.
“Surely David Moyes comes back into, with credibility, the Manchester United equation,” he said. “He was unjustly dealt with the first time around, give him more time and things might be different.
“What Moyes is showing is that he can compete regularly with the elite. He is competing with West Ham, so what can he do with United? I would suggest a lot.
“I am saying Moyes is a credible candidate to be the next manager of Manchester United and should be considered such by the hierarchy.
“Do you not think Moyes would like to right the wrong? I’m sure he would.”

Out of nowhere.
It may seem a bold claim from White, with the likes of Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino heavily linked with the role, but it’s a shout which holds substance.
David Moyes’ West Ham sit just two points behind The Red Devils, and the Scotsman has proven he can get impressive results both domestically and in Europe with a side who operate on a considerably lower budget than Manchester United.
The interest may flatter Moyes, who was sacked at Old Trafford after just ten months in charge in 2014, but it won’t phase him.
The West Ham boss will be keen to remain focused on The Irons’ ambitions in the Premier League and in Europe, where Lyon await next week.
At this moment in time, Moyes has created this fairytale at the London Stadium and this is just the beginning.
Leaving now or in the summer simply isn’t an option.
