Jesse Lingard could force Manchester Utd exit amid West Ham interest
Manchester United playmaker Jesse Lingard is still loath to leave his boyhood club despite interest from West Ham United.
The Times has reported that the attacker does recognise that leaving may be the only chance to salvage his England career, though.
Should regular playing time not arrive in the immediate future, Lingard could look to force an exit this month.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rates the attacker highly and is now considering handing him a place in the squad against Southampton.
Rated at £25million, the Irons are still unwilling to pay that price though as they look to secure reinforcements.
The Red Devils are said to have received no firm bids for Lingard, who is currently into the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.
West Ham have always been in the picture for his signature, although it could go down to the very wire in this window.

Priority.
Despite the club strongly looking for a new defender, we feel as though our priorities should lay elsewhere.
Lingard was one of the main reasons why the European push was maintained last season, and losing out on him would be a nightmare.
It would be the perfect signing.
The former loanee knows the club, squad and system perfect while proving that it is also a perfect match for his style of play.
We simply have to get this one done, whether Manchester United want it or not, meet their asking price and take it out of their hands.
