Jeff Stelling can’t get enough of ‘astonishing’ West Ham star’s display vs Everton, and it’s not Jarrod Bowen
Jarrod Bowen was again on target for West Ham in their 1-1 draw with Everton on Monday.
Bowen fired home in the second half for West Ham against Everton to ensure that the points were shared after Michael Keane headed the hosts in front.
The Hammers looked a lot more positive in Nuno Espirito Santo’s first game in charge compared to under Graham Potter.
West Ham’s midfield looked a lot better against Everton, with Soungoutou Magassa earning the plaudits from West Ham fans.

El Hadji Malick Diouf earns plaudits for display vs Everton
The post-game reaction was dominated by James Ward-Prowse’s omission from the West Ham squad, with El Hadji Malick Diouf’s performance going largely unnoticed.
Diouf caused all sorts of problems down the left-hand side for Everton, and linked up well with Crysencio Summerville.
Diouf was a standout for West Ham in his debut against Sunderland and has emerged as one of the signings of the summer following his £19million switch from Slavia Prague.
And speaking on talkSPORT on 30 September, Jeff Stelling was in awe of the 20-year-old.
“[Nuno] will take plenty of positives from some elements of last night’s game. Summerville, Diouf was astonishing down the left wing, his delivery,” he said.
“For the first time in a while, there was quite a lot to like about West Ham.”

Diouf and Summerville have both been rare positives for the Hammers this season, with the former Leeds winger recovering from an injury over the summer.
If West Ham had more of a focal point up front, the pair might have found themselves with more assists.
West Ham missing one piece to their attack
Niclas Fullkrug started ahead of Callum Wilson for the clash with Everton.
Both strikers have struggled for form since arriving at the London Stadium, and Nuno will likely look to sign a new number nine in January.
The pair have been injury-prone over the last year, with Fullkrug recently picking up an injury on international duty with Germany.
Nuno did something Graham Potter rarely did against the Toffees by playing a striker, but he will likely have to chop and change in attack.
Given how they performed against Monday night’s opponents, the Hammers look to be one missing piece in attack away from having a solid team.
