Jarrod Bowen West Ham United update emerges as Sky Sports clip shared

Jarrod Bowen has been pictured training with the rest of West Ham United’s squad ahead of their huge Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

The England international sustained a heavy knock in the Hammers’ loss to Tottenham, however, Claret and Hugh claimed (21 February) that he should be fit for the fixture against Steve Cooper’s side.

Any injury concerns have since been dismissed after Sky Sports released footage of West Ham’s training session on Wednesday morning (22 February), with the 26-year-old taking part in the session.

Season-defining

Fans will be glad to hear of Bowen’s involvement in training irrespective of his poor form in the 2022/23 campaign. The winger has bundles of talent and can often prove to be a deciding factor in tight fixtures.

The importance of this fixture won’t be lost on David Moyes. The Hammers simply have to pick up a positive result against Forest. Failure to win will see calls for the Scot to be sacked escalate. West Ham are now in the bottom three and considering the quality within the squad, they shouldn’t be.

West Ham

It really feels like a win-or-bust situation for Moyes. He’s had plenty of time to try and turn things around during the season and the Hammers have teetered on the edge of turning a corner for far too long. The 59-year-old is now on extremely thin ice.

The impact of relegation cannot be considered by the board, particularly after nearly reaching a European final in the 2021/22 season. This weekend needs to be a turning point, particularly with a number of teams fast near the bottom of the table.
