Jarrod Bowen travels with West Ham United squad to face Manchester United - ExWHUemployee
Jarrod Bowen has travelled with the West Ham squad to take on Manchester United this afternoon despite his injury, according to ExWHUemployee.
The England international missed the midweek win over Silkeborg after suffering with a problem and was considered a doubt for the game at Old Trafford.
However ahead of the team news being announced, Ex has shared on his personal Twitter account (30 October) that the 25 year old has travelled with the rest of the squad, suggesting he could feature in the game.
Having Bowen available and in the squad is a huge boost for the side in what is set to be a hugely difficult game for the team, with Manchester United in good form coming into this game.
Bowen is arguably the biggest goal threat in the side and his direct running and creativity is something that not many other players possess.
He’s struck up a great relationship with Gianluca Scamacca in recent weeks and we already know about his relationship with Michail Antonio, and with Lucas Paqueta ruled out that will be very necessary.
Counter attacks will be huge in this game for West Ham as Manchester United look to keep possession a lot more than they used to, so having Bowen available will be exactly what David Moyes would’ve been praying for.
It’s also good to know the injury wasn’t too serious and won’t affect his World Cup chances either, with his great form firmly placing him in the conversation for a spot in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the tournament.
