Jarrod Bowen in £50m West Ham exit claim as Premier League rivals named as ideal destination
West Ham are at risk of losing Jarrod Bowen sooner rather than later.
After West Ham’s 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest, there is very little, if any, optimism around the London Stadium.
Nuno Espirito Santo has this side heading for relegation, with a seven-point gap now between the Hammers and the safety zone.
However, relegation may not be the only consequence of their downfall this season, with several players almost certain to be moved on.
Among those players is Bowen, who has been tipped for a move elsewhere in the Premier League.
Sky Sports pundit names potenytial destination for Jarrod Bowen
West Ham would have been relegated a long time ago had it not been for Bowen, who has once again been their only source of attacking threat this season.
The 29-year-old has six goals and one assist in the Premier League for the Hammers this season, which is just short of 25 per cent of their total goals.
With West Ham at serious risk of relegation, there is every chance that a club chance their luck to sign him in January, and Sky Sports pundit Dougie Critchley believes that he would cost no more than £50million if that were to be the case.
Writing via X, he said: “This is the final move of his career, as I said 30 in December, no sell-on value… £50m max.
“Personally, I think he’d be an amazing signing for Aston Villa.”

Relegation would allow West Ham to have a serious clear-out
In an ideal world, Bowen stays with West Ham regardless of what happens this season, though the likelihood of that is slim to none.
However, he is arguably the only indispensable player that West Ham have on their books, showcasing how poor their recruitment has been over the last five years.
Lucas Paqueta has been woeful this season by his standards, while Max Kilman is stealing a living playing in the Premier League based on his recent performances.
Clubs have historically struggled to bounce back from relegation straight away, but that may well be what the Hammers need to stop the rot that has set in over the last few years.
