Jarrod Bowen future is priority at West Ham United with contract talks ongoing
West Ham star Jarrod Bowen’s long-term future remains a priority at the London Stadium, with talks ongoing over a new contract, as reported by Roshane Thomas.
The Athletic journalist wrote on 25 September that the Englishman’s performance at Anfield will provide another reminder as to why his future is so important to all at West Ham, and why the ongoing talks are an increasingly key issue.
Reports have previously stated that his Hammers contract would be a priority following the close of the transfer window [90min, 18 September], although suggestions of a possible move to Liverpool [GIVEMESPORT, 16 September] may have thrown a spanner in the works.

Proving his worth once again
Following his UEFA Europa Conference League-winning goal against Fiorentina in Prague at the end of last season, Bowen has been moving from strength to strength in his pursuit of improvement at the London Stadium.
This has earned him shouts of a potential move to Liverpool if star man Mohammed Salah makes the switch to Saudi Arabia either in January or next summer, and his performance at Anfield on Sunday [24 September] will have done no harm to his reputation in Liverpool.
West Ham will now see it as even more of a priority that they tie him down to a long-term deal, both for his immediate impact and potential future responsibility under Moyes. It remains key for the Hammers to keep their main stars at the club.

The East Londoners are looking like a club on the up after their silverware success last season, and are targeting further wins this time around, with Bowen integral to any success they can reach.
