Jarrod Bowen and Max Kilman have done something that no other West Ham player has managed this season
Jarrod Bowen and Max Kilman have been in a class of their own at West Ham this season.
Bowen has been West Ham’s saviour, often popping up with crucial goals, while Kilman’s impact goes under the radar.
Both men have managed to feature in every single Premier League games for the Hammers, with neither missing a single minute of action for the London Stadium outfit.
They are the only Irons stars to do so, suggesting that they will be key for Nuno Espirito Santo‘s hopes of survival.
Why are Jarrod Bowen and Max Kilman the only West Ham players not to miss a minute?
In Bowen‘s case it is obvious, the Hammers need goals, and he is normally the one who manages to get them.
- Bowen has three goals and one assist in 11 league matches this season
- He has 77 goals and 53 assists in 250 games for the Hammers overall
- He has been linked with a move to Liverpool
For Kilman, it is a little more complicated, but he has definitely been helped by the fact that both Graham Potter and Nuno have played with three centre-backs, and the injury to Konstantinos Mavropanos.

He is a polarising figure among the fanbase, but his presence is necessary in the backline due to his passing ability from the back.

What has Nuno said about the remarkable Hammers duo?
Nuno has made no secret of his admiration for Bowen, since taking the job in East London in September.
The Portuguese manager recognises the need to get the best out of the Three Lions star, if the Hammers are to achieve their goals
Speaking before the 3-2 win over Newcastle, he said: “He’s massively important – he’s one of the top players in England. He’s one of the other players who we need to gel and to bring all the others to the same state of mind.”
Meanwhile, Kilman has history with Nuno, as he was handed his first Premier League start when the duo worked together at Wolves.
Nuno praised his impact ahead of the 2-0 loss to Arsenal in October, saying: “I think he is an important member of the squad. He can help in terms of relationship with the squad and how we approach things, our work-ethic in the training sessions, how we face the competition, how serious we are.
“Max has been very helpful. Delighted for him. [200 games] is crazy.”
The Hammers need both men to continue their remarkable record going forward, if they are to have any chance of staying in the division, and arresting their dismal run of form.
