Jamie O’Hara fears for West Ham and Potter after what he saw – ‘Terrible’

West Ham’s form has continues to be a massive concern under Graham Potter as the end of the Premier League season looms.

The Hammers are now winless in their last eight matches, with the East London club currently set to finish 17th

Potter has not impressed since he was appointed, and they are major concerns about the future of the Hammers.

While West Ham are planning to make numerous signings this summer, confidence is not high for the upcoming campaign.

Now, Jamie O’Hara has shared his concern for West Ham after their draw with Spurs on the weekend.

O’Hara fears West Ham relegation after ‘garbage’ display against Spurs

West Ham were terrible against Spurs. While they managed to pick up a point, there was an expectation that the hosts would beat their below-full-strength London rivals and end their winless run.

While the Hammers could still finish at high as 13th, it is increasingly likely that they will finish fourth from bottom, being fortunate that they weren’t dragged into a late battle to stay up.

However, with strong sides such as Leeds United and Burnley returning to the Premier League next year, it is no guarantee that the club isn’t relegated.

Discussing the Hammers on talkSPORT (5 May), O’Hara reiterated this concern and admitted he is not convinced with Potter.

He said: “West Ham are garbage. I was expecting West Ham to come and play on the front foot.

“I knew Spurs would just be happy to take a draw and get some minutes for some players but I am not convinced [with West Ham].

“Graham Potter, I am not convinced at all, they are terrible.”

Jason Cundy then added: “Since he has been in, the bounce that you look and hope and the changes hasn’t happened.

“We spoke about Leeds and Burnley getting promoted and the fans rightly said they ca stay up. Who’s the team that’s going to drop out? Right now, West Ham you don’t want to continue that form next season.

“They need to strengthen, hold onto Bowen, if no one those things happen, they may well be looking over their shoulders.”

West Ham are in deep trouble this summer

As it stands, West Ham are in deep trouble. The club are one of the only teams in the Premier League without any form or a sense of direction going into the final matches.

Big changes to the team are needed in the summer but it has been reported that West Ham will have to sell to buy.

On top of this, questions will rightly be asked of Potter if he doesn’t pick up a win in his remaining matches.

Potter has not impressed at West Ham

The former Chelsea manager has only won three games so far, and many of the London Stadium faithful may be fearful of backing someone in the summer that appears so far out of his depth.

A big decision may need to be made at the end of the season, but fans will have little confidence that West Ham will get it right.
