Jamie O’Hara can not believe what he just saw West Ham do – ‘What am I watching?’

West Ham suffered yet another home defeat in the Premier League following a 2-0 loss to Brentford on Monday.

West Ham fans boycotted the Brentford match, despite it being Nuno Espirito Santo’s first game at the London Stadium.

With unrest in E20 at an all-time high due to frustration with David Sullivan, West Ham’s defeat to Brentford leaves them 19th in the Premier League.

Jamie Carragher criticised West Ham’s shocking performance, whilst Jamie O’ Hara also had some harsh words regarding the defeat.

Jamie O’Hara delivers scathing review of West Ham

Goals from Mathias Jensen and Igor Thiago sealed the win for Brentford, yet they missed a host of chances that could have made the scoreline much more embarrassing for West Ham.

With West Ham’s only win of the season coming back in August, the future looks bleak for the remainder of the season.

Against Brentford, West Ham were outrun, outfought, and bullied off their own pitch to leave the few remaining fans in the London Stadium thankful when the full-time whistle was blown.

Speaking on talkSPORT after the match, O’Hara was hugely critical of West Ham’s urgency during the match.

He said: “What am I watching? They are one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen in the Premier League.

“This has got to be probably the worst West Ham side I’ve seen in the Premier League. I’ve played in charity games at West Ham, mate, honestly, I could have played tonight.

“Like literally, no one’s near him. He can do what he wants. Any player can just sit there and string a ball about and look good, but there’s no one tackling you.”

Nuno will expect much more from his side in Friday’s huge match against Leeds, which could have significant ramifications on the rest of their season.

West Ham’s dismal form can’t carry on; otherwise, their sole aim for the season will be to achieve Premier League survival.

West Ham destined for relegation after poor start to the season

West Ham are now predicted to be relegated, and it wouldn’t come as a shock to supporters.

The Hammers have been dreadful for the last couple of seasons, yet due to all of the promoted sides not being able to adapt to the demands of the Premier League, they have never been in any real danger.

This season, Leeds, Burnley, and Sunderland all sit above them in the table, and there is real fear that they could go down.

The trip to Elland Road on Friday is one West Ham must simply win, and if they don’t, further anger from Hammers fans will be expected.
