Jamie Carragher predicts result of Manchester City v West Ham United Premier League final day clash
Jamie Carragher has predicted the result of the final Premier League clash of the season between Manchester City and West Ham.
The Cityzens can claim their fourth consecutive Premier League title with a win at the Etihad Stadium, while the Hammers are keen to send David Moyes off with a win after securing a ninth-place finish in the table already.
And when making his predictions for Sky Super 6 (18 May), Carragher admitted that he can’t see past a routine win for the champions despite it being Moyes’ farewell fixture.
“Man City will score early and stroll to a fourth consecutive Premier League title,” he said, while picking a 4-0 win for Pep Guardiola’s side.
David Moyes can go out on a high for West Ham United
It’s been a tough season for the Hammers this year with aspirations of claiming European football for a forth consecutive season crumbling, while another European quarter-final was reached.
But some struggling performances have seen the club make the decision to let Moyes leave at the end of the season, with Julen Lopetegui expected to replace him as the boss.
Moyes got a perfect send-off at the London Stadium with the 2-1 win over Luton last weekend, as the team made a comeback, but this could be the perfect way to seal an exit.

Moyes has never won an away game at one of the top six during his time as West Ham boss, and the final game coming against arguably one of the best sides in history would be ideal.
City will obviously be the favourites and they’ll be pushing hard so it won’t be easy, but there’s not much riding on the game so Hammers fans can just enjoy it.
