Injury expert shares West Ham United update ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

West Ham United are set to be without three players for their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest, according to Ben Dinnery.

Kurt Zouma is still recovering from a thigh injury and has been “ruled out” of the clash against Steve Cooper’s side at the London Stadium (Premier injuries website).

Maxwel Cornet is still out of action with a calf injury and Dinnery doesn’t expect the Ivorian to return to action until 4 March. It’s a similar situation for Lucas Paqueta, who has also been ruled out by the injury expert.

West Ham United

Make or break

This really is make or break for David Moyes. The loss to Tottenham left West Ham in the bottom three and now firmly involved in a relegation battle. Performances simply haven’t been good enough in the 2022/23 campaign and now there is a desperate need for points on the board.

Leeds, Everton, Southampton and Wolves have all made changes in the dugout and all eyes are now on the London Stadium. Consistency is key and showing faith in a manager is commendable, but the threat of relegation cannot be ignored.

West Ham

Championship football is something which cannot be considered by the West Ham board. They have invested far too much in the playing squad in recent years and the financial implications of relegation will be cataclysmic. Luckily, there is still a lot of football to play between now and the end of the season.

ExWHUemployee has claimed that a loss against Forest could well be the final straw for the West Ham United boss, with the board growing increasingly concerned about their league position.
