Injury expert shares Nottingham Forest team news ahead of West Ham United Premier League clash

Nottingham Forest are set to be without eight players for their trip to the London Stadium to face West Ham United on Saturday, according to Ben Dinnery.

Scott McKenna and Willy Boly are both long-term absentees from Steve Cooper’s plans and will not return until April and May respectively (Premier Injuries website).

Taiwo Awoniyi will also be unavailable with Dinnery not expecting the Nigerian to return to action until March. It’s a similar situation for Moussa Niakhate and Dean Henderson, who are both not expected to feature until next month.

Giulian Biancone, Omar Richards and Cheikhou Kouyate are all sidelined with long-term injuries and won’t feature against the Hammers.

Big squad

Considering the size of Cooper’s squad, it’s not a huge surprise to see a large number of players missing. Luckily for the Nottingham Forest boss, he still has a number of options to call upon. The former Swansea boss has worked wonders since taking the job in the East Midlands, particularly after Forest’s poor start to the season.

They will provide an extremely stern test of the Hammers and it’s hard to envisage this being a comfortable afternoon for David Moyes. The West Ham boss is now under immense pressure as he looks to steer his side away from the bottom three.

West Ham

The results last weekend meant the Irons now find themselves in the relegation zone on merit – and a defeat against Forest could well prove to be fatal for Moyes.

ExWHUemployee has claimed the West Ham boss could well be dismissed if the Hammers fail to beat Forest on Saturday afternoon. The board have been staunch supporters of their man in recent months, but the threat of relegation is simply too great to ignore.
