Injury expert shares Leicester City update ahead of West Ham United Premier League clash

Leicester City are set to be without four first-team players for their Premier League clash against West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

The Foxes are in dire need of three points after their 0-0 draw against Newcastle United on Monday evening left them two points behind Everton in 18th place.

Dean Smith will be without James Justin, Jannik Vestergaard, Ryan Bertrand and Danny Ward for the clash against David Moyes’ side. The quartet have all been ruled out by injury expert, Ben Dinnery (Premier injuries).

Pressure off

The two sides head into the clash at the London Stadium in completely different scenarios. Leicester are fighting for their lives and are desperate for three points to put some sort of pressure on Everton. West Ham had their own say in the relegation dogfight on Sunday after they swept aside Leeds United 3-1 at the London Stadium.

The Yorkshire side now face a battle against the odds to survive, with West Ham and Bournemouth both needing to pick up results, as well as Leeds beating Tottenham on the final day. It’s a set of extremely unlikely results. The Hammers will be fairly pleased with how their season has panned out.
