Injury Expert shares fresh Crystal Palace injury blow ahead of clash v West Ham United

Crystal Palace have been dealt another fresh injury blow ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against West Ham United with Rob Holding now also “ruled out”.

Injury expert Ben Dinnery, on his official Premier Injuries X account (1 December) shared that the former Arsenal defender is now out with a suspected ankle injury with his status “ruled out” for Sunday’s game.

Palace are already without several key players for Sunday’s game with youngster Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Dean Henderson also both “ruled out” along with crucial figures Eberechi Eze and Cheick Doucoure both set for a spell on the sidelines.

Must-win

No game in the Premier League is easy, especially against a side that always enters contests with a surprise up their sleeve as much as Crystal Palace.

Still, the latest injury updates out of Selhurst Park will give the Hammers a boost heading into the clash this weekend.

David Moyes will have been mightily relieved his side managed to claw three points from a losing position at Turf Moor against Burnley last weekend – their second successive Premier League win after going five games without one.

And also against Backa Topola on Thursday in the Europa League, games in which the Hammers were far from their best and any sort of display against Roy Hodgson’s men could well leave them short of one point, let alone three.

The Irons will be back on home territory again looking for their third straight win and are certainly boosted by the news that Eberechi Eze will miss Sunday’s game with an ankle injury as his match-winning qualities could cause problems for any team in the English top-flight.

That does not mean West Ham United are guaranteed the three points though, as they still have the small problem of Michael Olise to deal with who is just as decisive and as effective as Eze in the Palace team.

Moyes and his men can’t afford to take their foot off the gas pedal for this game with Roy Hodgson and his Palace side looking for a crucial win that has eluded them since the start of November.

In other West Ham news, a TNT Sports pundit was left blown away by one Hammers player after what he did in their 1-0 win over Backa Topola, he is “on flames” right now.
