Injury Expert shares early Brentford team news v West Ham United
Brentford are set to be without just five first-team players for their Premier League clash against West Ham United on Saturday 4 November, according to injury expert Ben Dinnery.
The injury expert shared the data on his website and has listed the players who will not be available and are “ruled out”, with only one of them who could potentially feature at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Rico Henry (knee), Ivan Toney (suspension), Kevin Schade (groin), Josh Dasilva (thigh), and Mikkel Damsgaard (knee) are all out of Saturday’s game.
Keane Lewis-Potter is a doubt at 25% but won’t be ready until after Saturday’s game while Shandon Baptiste could make a return against the Hammers but his status is also at 25%.
Slippery slide
West Ham United are currently undergoing a slippery slide right now following their third successive defeat against Everton on Sunday (29 October).
David Moyes and his team certainly need a morale-booster right now but whether they can grab that at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, despite their significant injury list remains to be seen.
Brentford are always a tough place to visit with their fans one of the most rampant and intimidating in the Premier League and Moyes’ men will need to show they have the bottle and mentality to overcome it.
Their last few encounters have certainly given off the vibe that this team still has some way to go before they reach the next level after their European triumph in June, and Moyes will need to quickly find a winning formula in his team or face the inevitable sack pressure.
No manager when they’re under pressure wants to go to Brentford to ease it, it’s always a tough ask but it will be a major test of Moyes’ managerial abilities again if his side can grab a much-needed and morale-boosting win. Huge game.
