Injury expert: Four Leeds United players ‘ruled out’ of crunch PL clash v West Ham United

Leeds United will be without four players for their crunch Premier League showdown against West Ham United, according to injury expert, Ben Dinnery.

Colombian winger, Luis Sinisterra is still out and is not expected to be back for the clash at Elland Road. Patrick Bamford is also anticipated to miss the fixture (The Yorkshire Post, 3 January).

Stuart Dallas and Archie Gray are also both out of the match on Wednesday (4 January) with longer-term injury issues (Premier Injuries website).

West Ham

Must win

There is certainly more pressure on West Ham to go to Leeds and pick up a positive result. The Hammers are currently in a dire run of form and David Moyes is in desperate need of three points to relieve the immense pressure which is mounting on his shoulders.

Leeds have a game in hand on West Ham which means they can head into the fixture knowing that a point isn’t the worst result in the world.

The Hammers are currently sweating on the fitness of Michail Antonio, who has been struck down by illness. Furthermore, Kurt Zouma and Maxwel Cornet are also out of the fixture against Leeds (Premier injuries).

West Ham

It’s time for this group of players to show they’re invested in what Moyes is trying to achieve at the London Stadium and display that they’re 100 per cent behind the manager.

It’s certainly time for some of the summer signings to really step up, with Gianluca Scamacca and Lucas Paqueta failing to hit the heights expected of them so far.
