Ian Wright waxes lyrical over West Ham icon Mark Noble

Ian Wright was gushing over Mark Noble for his incredible Premier League career with West Ham as he is set to call it a day from the game.

Noble made the headlines for coming off the bench against Manchester City and put in an incredible shift to ensure that the Hammers drew the game.

He was duly serenaded by the West Ham fans and Wright believes that he deserves every single bit of adulation.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, he said, “Unbelievable servant for his football club. Has had a fantastic career at West Ham. He deserves all the admiration that he’s getting.”

Spot on

Noble is a legend in east London and will be fondly remembered for his years of service for the Irons.

He might not have had a single England cap to his name, but that does not make the Hammers faithful think any less of him.

Whenever the manager has called upon him, he’s showed up and delivered, no questions asked.

Inside the dressing room, he’s been a leader and an inspiration to many players who have gone on to make it big in the game.

It’s hard to see Noble going anywhere apart from West Ham and he could be back in some capacity very soon.

Noble has all the makings of being a first-team coach one day and who knows, maybe over the next decade, he receives the call to take over the reins at the London Stadium.

In other West Ham news, a football finance expert has made a mammoth £200m Hammers claim amid recent speculation.
