Here We Go as West Ham United on verge of Edson Alvarez transfer – Fabrizio Romano
Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez will fly into London in the next 24 hours to complete his move to West Ham, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer guru has delivered his famous “here we go” with the deal set to be worth up to £35million with a verbal agreement in place between the clubs.
It is said that Alvarez will now jet in for his medical and to sign his contract at the London Stadium ahead of the announcement being made official.
He wrote: “Édson Álvarez to West Ham, here we go! Verbal agreement with Ajax for total package around £34/35m fee.
“Álvarez will fly to London in the next 24 hours in order to undergo medical tests and sign contracts.
“Personal terms agreed as revealed on Saturday.”

Finally.
West Ham finally have lift-off in this transfer window.
The Irons remain the only club in the Premier League yet to complete a new transfer, but that is all set to change in the next 24 hours it seems with Alvarez coming in.
David Moyes will likely be breathing a huge sigh of relief, but this should only be the start with the Declan Rice replacement likely found in the Mexican.
Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea have both been strongly linked with Alvarez so this will be a real coup to get this one over the line with medicals and the contract all that is left.
It will be hard to celebrate fully until it is officially announced given the Carlos Borges saga, but let’s hope that this is the start of a very busy end to the window.
Here We Go, how we have been waiting for those three words.
