Harry Redknapp backs West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen for England call-up
Harry Redknapp says there is ‘no stopping’ Jarrod Bowen right now and has backed the West Ham winger to earn an England call-up next month.
The 25-year-old got another goal and assist in the 2-2 draw vs Leicester at the weekend to take his tally to 21 combined for the season so far.
His performance was widely lauded and now former Hammers boss Redknapp, while naming him in his BetVictor team of the week, says he should be in contention for an England call-up.

“There’s just no stopping Jarrod Bowen at West Ham,” he said.
“He’s been on fire all season long and added another superb goal to his tally at the weekend.
“He was a constant threat, and his assist for Dawson’s late equaliser topped off a fine afternoon for a player that could be in contention for an England call-up.”
Inevitable
With the way Bowen is playing currently at the London Stadium and the form of some of England’s other wide options, surely he’ll get a call-up.
Gareth Southgate has yet to comment publicly on his squad choices for next month, but Bowen has maintained this level of form all season.

He’s yet to be capped at any level for England, but it’s hard to deny that he at the very least deserves a chance to be involved in the squad.
With the World Cup looming at the end of the year, Bowen doesn’t have much time to make a big impression at that level and Southgate will want to take a close look if he’s interested at all.
If Bowen can avoid injury and keep the form going, he should expect to be named in the squad and then it’s up to him to keep his place in the side for Qatar in November.
