Graham Potter sack latest emerges at West Ham as David Sullivan change timeline revealed

Graham Potter is clinging on for dear life at West Ham United.

West Ham have already contacted Nuno Espirito Santo after a poor run of form, but talks appear to have stalled for the Portuguese manager.

Two mystery candidates are also thought to be in the running, but despite the crushing defeat to Crystal Palace last time out at the London Stadium, Potter remains in his post.

David Sullivan has come under pressure to make big changes at West Ham, and his first swap of the season could be forced soon.

David Sullivan to make Graham Potter decision in international break

Slaven Bilic has been presented as another option to Sullivan, with the Hammers hierarchy keen to recruit a manager with plenty of Premier League experience.

After so much disruption from the defeat to Crystal Palace, Potter was expected to be sacked by West Ham after a “nightmare” start.

The decision would likely have won back some supporters to a degree, but the Welsh businessman appears eager to take his time.

According to talkSPORT, the Hammers are likely to bide their time before making a change in the upcoming October international break.

However, another heavy defeat at Everton may accelerate that decision.

Some senior figures at the London Stadium have been pushing for the Hammers to reappoint Bilic on a short-term deal to get them out of a potential relegation battle.

West Ham fans to grow more impatient with David Sullivan

Sullivan continues to frustrate West Ham fans who have been demanding a change to be made.

The Hammers are sleepwalking into a relegation battle, and allowing Potter more games will only worsen that.

They have been presented with the ideal opportunity to go and get a proven manager in Nuno, and should they delay that, he could soon be off the market.

Following all the delays in making a decision, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see fans intensify their protests and possibly boycott future games.
