Gianluca Scamacca is happy at West Ham United amid reports the striker is ditched by agency – ExWHUemployee
Gianluca Scamacca is happy at West Ham amid reports World Soccer Agency had ditched their representation of the Italian striker, according to ExWHUemployee.
The Italian striker joined the Hammers in the summer with WSA brokering the deal for the player to move to East London in a £35.5m deal from Italian outfit Sassuolo.
But according to reports, that partnership has now been brought to an end against the player’s wishes, with Fabrizio Romano sharing [28 February] a statement released by the agency claiming “there was no longer trust”.

With many believing that those reports may put the player’s Hammers future in jeopardy, Ex speaking to The West Ham Way confirmed via their club sources that the Italian is in fact happy at the London Stadium.
He said: “We have had it confirmed to us that Scamacca is happy at the club.
“The change of agency has nothing to do with his future he just wanted to be represented by someone else and players change agents all the time without publicity.”
Non-story
Ex is right. News emerging of players parting company with their representatives are not new, and happen all the time. More significantly, most times it does not mean the players is desperate for a move away from the club which certainly isn’t the case for Scamacca.
The Italian hitman has become something of a fan favourite at the Hammers stadium, despite his injury-ravaged debut season and news coming out revealing that he is happy at the club is a welcome boost to the fans.

World Soccer Agency are known for brokering top deals, with the striker previously linked with moves to Atletico Madrid recently but the club can be rest assured that Scamacca remains a big part of their future.
With Michail Antonio’s immediate future in East London up in the air, Scamacca will play a huge part for the rest of this season and next. In fact, he could become a leading striker at the club for a number of years if they manage to match his ambitions.
More crucially, the club will be desperate to have him back fit and firing for the crucial games ahead in the coming weeks as the Hammers look to steer themselves away from the dreaded drop zone.
