George Earthy gutted as new West Ham injury reveal emerges from Rush Green
George Earthy has not enjoyed the best of injury luck at West Ham.
Earthy missed West Ham’s USA tour in the summer due to injury, which was a blow to the first-team prospects of the 21-year-old.
This was especially the case after Earthy enjoyed a productive loan spell away from West Ham with Bristol City, which saw him become a Championship regular.
There were hopes that the midfielder would make an impression at the London Stadium this season, something that could still be possible with Nuno Espirito Santo now in charge as West Ham boss.
Nuno has already been dealt a blow in E20, with Earthy speaking out in reaction to fresh injury news for the claret and blue outfit.

George Earthy shares emotional message after injury blow
Earthy could have featured for West Ham against Tottenham earlier in the campaign after returning to fitness.
Graham Potter opted against using the Englishman, something which looks to have been a turning point in his season in East London.
The Irons lost 3-0 against Spurs, and now, Earthy has picked up a new injury concern, which looks set to rule him out for a lengthy period.
Reports have emerged suggesting that the Englishman has suffered a hamstring injury, having limped into the treatment room at Rush Green.
This looks to have been confirmed by Earthy via his Instagram story on 30 September.

He said: “Gutted to have another setback again. Time to work even harder to get back out there.”
This is likely to cause widespread frustration throughout the E20 outfit, especially with the ex-Nottingham Forest boss taking over as the new manager.
It is clear that Earthy is keen to get back to fitness as quickly as possible, but concerns now arise over the number of issues he has faced at just 21.
Nuno dealt frustrating Earthy midfield blow
The Portuguese head coach had many positive midfield options to pick from in his opening match against Everton.
This saw Soungoutou Magassa come in alongside Mateus Fernandes and Lucas Paqueta, before Freddie Potts came on later in the day.
West Ham midfield options vs Everton:
- Soungoutou Magassa
- Mateus Fernandes
- Lucas Paqueta
- Freddie Potts
- Guido Rodriguez
- Andy Irving
There is no doubt that Earthy would have been a positive addition to the squad for Nuno, especially with James Ward-Prowse seemingly frozen out.
It will be interesting to see now where the youngster’s future lies as the Hammers wait for him to return from yet another injury blow.
