Gary Neville sends cryptic message in West Ham United clash v Arsenal

Gary Neville has delivered a cryptic message on his social media after the opening West Ham United goal in the 2-0 win against Arsenal on Thursday 28 December.

There was some outrage as VAR could not conclude if the ball had gone out of play before Jarrod Bowen set up Tomas Soucek to slot home at the Emirates Stadium.

Neville shared an image of himself on X, looking at a ball that looks out of play, but from another angle would be staying within the game of play.

Get on with it.

This is certainly one of those arguments that will never end with everyone agreeing.

Of course, Arsenal fans will say the ball went out but West Ham fans will say there was never enough evidence to suggest that, something that VAR actually agreed with for once.

Bowen was a livewire all evening again at the Emirates, with his central role causing yet more problems for everybody in the Gunners’ defence.

Soucek was the only other player alert to the attack, and he got his reward when he was on hand to slot home and get yet another poacher finish.

Neville appeared to agree with the decision, and that will no doubt leave Arsenal fans angry, but what doesn’t in the modern day?

West Ham do not care one little bit and made sure of all three points with another goal in the 2-0 win which ticks off yet another sensational victory for David Moyes.

The players simply got on with their jobs at the Emirates, with Arsenal’s players and fans constantly moaning as they were outclassed on the night in all departments.
