
Gary Lineker blown away by West Ham, claims Declan Rice is getting ‘better and better’
West Ham United picked up an impressive 2-1 victory against Leeds United on Friday evening at Elland Road.
Despite falling behind in the opening two minutes, the Hammers fought back to dominate and take a deserved three points.
Goals from Tomas Soucek and Angelo Ogbonna didn’t tell the full story, as the Irons could have scored plenty more in West Yorkshire.
One man who was left impressed was Gary Lineker.
The Match of the Day host admitted that David Moyes was doing a terrific job, and that Declan Rice is only getting better every single week.

Rice was once again, superb.
Leeds are known for their relentless attacking style, and the England international put an end to that time and time again in West Yorkshire.
The 21-year-old won all of his defensive duels, and loose ball duels according to WyScout, and dominated Marcelo Bielsa’s midfield.
On top of that, he made five interceptions and 13 recoveries as well as completing 88% of his passes – he should have had an assist when he played through Pablo Fornals.
No one needs to remind us of his class, but this was another reminder for those who continue to doubt his ability in the Premier League.

A word for Moyes too.
The Irons boss was dealt a blow with Arthur Masuaku being ruled out, but his decision to bring in Said Benrahma rather than a defender was a masterful choice.
The Algerian caused all-sorts of problems, and the new Hammers system worked a charm at Elland Road as we picked up yet another three points.
