Gabby Agbonlahor reacts to West Ham United ace Declan Rice transfer news amid Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Manchester United links
Gabriel Agbonlahor admits he’ll be shocked to see West Ham midfielder Declan Rice joining Bayern Munich over Arsenal or Manchester United.
The former Aston Villa striker has reacted to the news that the Bavarians are seriously considering a move for the 24-year-old.
The Daily Mail reported on 30 May that they were willing to pay £87million in order to sign the England international this summer.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said, “You got big clubs in England that are after you, Manchester United and Arsenal.
“I don’t see Declan Rice going to Bayern Munich and they’re a bit shaky, at the moment. They’ve had a poor season.
“Talk of Thomas Tuchel leaving, but they were poor this season.
“I look at Declan Rice, Premier League proven. Family settled in London. Maybe if you want to change later on his career then it’s fine.
“At his age, the thought of going to Arsenal, you know the players out there, Saka, Smith-Rowe and Ramsdale out there.”
Sell to the highest bidder
West Ham do not need to be choosy here and not sell to certain clubs because they may have a rivalry with them.
They’ve got to do what makes the most sense in terms of economics and that’s selling to the highest bidder.

If Bayern are indeed offering that much, then they have to ask Arsenal to match that rate or tell them to forget about signing Rice.
Given how desperate they are for the Hammers captain, there’s a very good chance that they will compete right until the end.
The midfielder himself appears to have an agreement in place to join Arsenal, but that really does not matter if Manchester United or Bayern offer more money.
It remains to be seen who ends up signing Rice but the real winners from a financial standpoint are going to be West Ham.
