Flynn Downes at Rush Green ahead of major West Ham United transfer – ExWHUemployee

Flynn Downes is apparently waiting at Rush Green ahead of West Ham United confirming his transfer, according to ExWHUemployee.

The reliable source has reported that the medical has been completed successfully, and there are only minor pieces of paperwork to be completed ahead of the announcement.

Once that is ironed out, both West Ham and Swansea will be able to confirm the deal which is said to be worth around £12million.

Writing on the West Ham Way Patreon page across the past 24 hours, Ex has consistently dropped updates with the transfer edging closer and closer.

“He is apparently at the training ground now to complete his second part of the medical and do the media work if required,” he wrote.

“We can confirm that Flynn Downes has completed and passed his medical and is set to sign for the club. It isn’t completely done yet as a few minor paperwork to do.”

Lovely stuff.

This is exactly what we needed.

David Moyes has moved very quickly to reinforce his midfield, and it looks as though this deal is going to go through despite it only breaking into the media over the past 48 hours.

That is exactly how it should be done, and everyone involved needs to be applauded for getting it done so swiftly, from both clubs, even to the board.

Could Downes be the next Championship star that we unravel and turn into a real gem in the Premier League?

Said Benrahma has done it in bursts, and the main man Jarrod Bowen is the best example in the entire division, never mind just at the London Stadium.

Of course, initially, it looks like he will take up a rotation role behind Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek, but with serious doubts surrounding the future of the latter, it may not be long until that changes.
