Felipe Anderson waiting for offers to leave West Ham – report

Felipe Anderson is already waiting on offers to leave West Ham United in the summer, according to UOL.

The South American outlet have reported that once he returns from his loan spell at Porto, the situation isn’t brighter at the London Stadium.

Porto have already confirmed that they will not be making a permanent move for the winger, as his future lays in the air.

The Hammers will want this situation sorted out as quick as possible.

Anderson can start contract discussions with any club in January, with only one year left on his current deal at the London Stadium.

With European football likely next season, David Moyes will desperately want reinforcements in his squad, and selling players may be his only way of doing that.

There is already money in the bank from selling Sebsatien Haller to Ajax in January and not using that after to bring in a replacement.

West Ham

Disaster.

West Ham spent £36million on Anderson back in 2018, when they called him “one of the most exciting talents in Europe” – that didn’t work out.

The 28-year-old scored 10 goals in his 61 Premier League appearances across two seasons, and proved very quickly that he wasn’t good enough.

The big problem here is that there is no chance of getting anywhere near what we paid for the Brazilian when we ship him off.

With shocking form with the Irons and at Porto, as well as his expiring contract, it may be hard to even get half of that £36million.

Lazio must be laughing right now, but as long as his big wages are off the squad, we can move forward without dead wood.
