FC Girondins field multiple offers for West Ham target Alberth Elis

French club FC Girondins Bordeaux have reportedly fielded numerous offers for West Ham target and striker Alberth Elis.

According to Honduras media outlet Diario Diez, the 26-year-old is also on the radar of Leeds United and Fenerbahce are also keen on signing him this summer.

While the Honduras international has been linked with the exit door, the French club are in no rush to cash in as they’re waiting for the right offer to be made.

West Ham

Sign him

David Moyes loves a utility player and in Elis he will be getting exactly that in the “Explosive” the 26-year-old.

Signing him also should not be a real difficulty as the Hammers can offer him European football and the chance to play in the Premier League.

Currently, he finds himself in the third tier of French football and that’s certainly not where a player nearing the peak of his career would want to be playing.

The Hammers are looking for a striker this summer and while Chelsea forward Armando Broja appears to be their priority, there are no guarantees that they can get that over the line.

The Blues have been notorious when it comes to transfers and it makes sense for the Hammers to keep backups ready.

Elis would not only be a striking option but he could play on either the left or the right which means that he can Broja could play in the same starting eleven.

With Jarrod Bowen’s long-term future still in doubt, it makes sense for West Ham to plan ahead and add to their strength in depth one or two summers in advance.
