Fabrizio Romano shares ‘done deal’ update on Arsenal bid to sign West Ham United star Declan Rice
West Ham United are accepting Arsenal’s latest offer for their club captain Declan Rice, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer specialist noted that the Hammers have communicated to the Gunners that they will accept the deal worth £100million plus £5million in add-ons.
Romano added that the East London outfit want the £100million transfer fee for Rice to be paid within the next 18 months.

“West Ham have just communicated to Arsenal that they’re accepting £100m plus £5m add-ons fee for Declan Rice,” Romano wrote on Twitter.
“The two clubs remain in talks over deal structure and payment terms – as West Ham want £100m to be paid within 18 months. Final discussions and then… done deal.”
Saga coming to an end
The transfer saga involving the West Ham and England midfielder has been a lengthy one, but it may now finally be coming to an end.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United among other English clubs were all seemingly interested in his services at one point or another, with the same to be said of German giants Bayern Munich.
But Arsenal always looked like the strongest contenders, and they may now get the man they clearly want very badly.
He will absolutely improve Mikel Arteta’s team, and could be the difference between the Gunners becoming title challengers and title winners.
After leading the way for so long last time out, they fell just short as Manchester City showed all their class to lift another league title.
But things could all change next time around, with Rice set to be the main man in North London, with Arteta now able to focus on other signings to build a team around the Hammers icon.
In other West Ham news, one pundit has tipped Rice to take the Arsenal captaincy in a Hammers transfer verdict.
