Fabrizio Romano shares Declan Rice to Arsenal news in West Ham United update
Documents between West Ham United and Arsenal are now set to be signed in order for Declan Rice to seal his exit from the London Stadium, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Arsenal and West Ham United reached a full agreement over the £105 million transfer of Declan Rice on Tuesday night, with the midfielder set to undergo a medical in the coming days [The Telegraph, 5 June].
And according to Romano, taking to his personal Twitter account [6 July], Arsenal’s new club-record signing will complete his medical tests on Friday ahead of his long-awaited move to The Emirates.

He tweeted: “Arsenal have booked medical tests for Declan Rice on Friday. Club record signing will complete tests tomorrow.
“Documents being checked and set to be signed within 24 hours between #AFC and West Ham.
“Club record deal now finally set to be officially completed.”
Time to move forward
Finally, the Rice saga is coming to an end, and the West Ham United faithful can finally sing farewell to a club icon, leader and arguably a legend.
The England international has been a phenomenal servant since he emerged on the scene during the 2016/17 campaign.

A big-money move away was always likely to be completed soon, and Arsenal fans will be rejoicing that they are his next destination, at the expense of a Hammers faithful who will quickly be wanting to move on.
And one key way to do that is for David Moyes and new technical director Tim Steidten to identify and secure his long-term replacement in the coming weeks.
Rice’s departure will surely leave a gaping hole Moyes’ team and there are potentially two targets lying in wait to come in and immediately fill the void. Joao Palhinha and Edson Alvarez – go on West Ham United, take your pick.
In other West Ham news, one senior club figure is facing an uncertain future at the London Stadium following the appointment of Technical Director Tim Steidten.
