West Ham United sale of Nikola Vlasic could open door for January deals
West Ham attacker Nikola Vlasic is reportedly very close to sealing his permanent exit and moving to Serie A side Torino.
According to Calciomercato, the Italian side have been impressed with him and are close to triggering a deal to sign him permanently.
He is currently on loan at Torino and they are looking to sign him permanently for £12.8million, giving the Hammers cash to strengthen in other areas.

The Hammers surely need another midfielder and possibly an attacking player, given the fact that Manuel Lanzini and Tomas Soucek could be on their way out soon.
Vlasic’s sale may not raise enough money for both deals, but certainly it could see the club making at least one January signing as they would aim to finish in the European places once again.
His signing was one of the most baffling West Ham transfers in recent memory and we’re surprised why anyone sanctioned it at the club.
Because they failed to get Jesse Lingard’s services over the line, does not mean that they were getting a similar play in Vlasic.
The Croatian struggled in the Premier League previously and nothing really suggested that he would be an upgrade on the current crop of West Ham players.
That did end up being the case as he barely featured under David Moyes and is now eventually being sold on a permanent basis for a loss.
This was not a cheap deal and it’s one of the rare recent transfer failures as the club has managed to get most of their incomings spot on.
We’re hoping that this goes ahead as soon as possible, leaving the club with enough time and money to make important signings in the January window.
