ExWHUemployee: West Ham United in last-ditch talks to sign winger Sean Moore, buy-to-loan deal mooted

West Ham are in talks with Cliftonville over a possible deadline-day swoop for winger Sean Moore, with the Hammers offering to loan him back for the remainder of the season according to ExWHUemployee.

The reliable source had already claimed [via West Ham Way, 31 January] that Moore has been on the radar of West Ham United scouts for some time and could well be putting pen to paper on a move to East London today.

The Northern Irish 17-year-old has been touted for big things in the future and the Hammers are keen to add him to their academy ranks to further his development.

West Ham

Speaking on his Patreon page [31 January], Ex has revealed that the East Londoners are in talks with Cliftonville over a possible deadline-day move and will reportedly look to loan him back to the club once the deal is completed.

He wrote: “As we exclusively broke earlier today, West Ham are in talks with Nothern Irish player Sean Moore of Cliftonville over a possible move to the club today. There has been discussions that we would buy the player and loan him back to Cliftonville.”

Great Find

It seems as if deadline day may be a quiet one for the Hammers, considering the damaging injury blow to new signing Danny Ings against Everton in his debut.

However, that hasn’t stopped the club from scouring the talent pool for emerging talent and Moore seems a great find for the club to acquire another young player and hone their craft in the academy.

West Ham

West Ham remains an attractive proposition for youth players to join and further their development and it’s incredibly important that this prestigious club continues their progression so they can continue to unearth players like Declan Rice.

17-year-old Moore is enjoying a breakthrough period at Cliftonville and is an acquisition which makes a lot of sense.
